Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens

Ah! A mys­tery solved, at last! Haven’t you encoun­tered some peo­ple in your lives, who forced you to won­der — is this the lev­el that “Homo Sapi­ens” can stoop to?

Well, pale­oan­thro­pol­o­gist Eric Trinkaus thinks he has the answer, reports Wash­ing­ton Post. A new review of the fos­sil record from that peri­od has come up with a provoca­tive con­clu­sion: The two groups saw each oth­er as kin­dred spir­its and, when con­di­tions were right, they mat­ed.
