Science, nature

Just a few days back, I came across a program on Discovery channel about how famous science fiction authors had predicted most of the astounding scientific discoveries and achievements that actually happened decades later. It included H. G. Well’s foreboding of the atomic bomb, among other things.

Today, yet another amazing discovery: a new mineral, with almost identical chemical composition as Kryptonite (a.k.a. Superman Returns)  has been discovered in a mine in Serbia! Read BBC’s account here.
