Rural India, but with a different perspective…

Do you think inter­na­tion­al media cov­er­age of “ris­ing India” is either adu­la­to­ry at the extreme (IT, call cen­ters, eco­nom­ic growth, blah, blah) or caus­ti­cal­ly crit­i­cal at the oth­er extreme (rur­al scene, divide between rich and poor, so many mil­lions liv­ing under $1 a day, blah, blah)?

Isn’t it nice to see inspir­ing arti­cles like this piece about rur­al Indi­an suc­cess sto­ries in the Finan­cial Times?
