Rural India, but with a different perspective…

Do you think inter­na­tional media cov­er­age of “ris­ing India” is either adu­la­tory at the extreme (IT, call cen­ters, eco­nomic growth, blah, blah) or caus­ti­cally crit­i­cal at the other extreme (rural scene, divide between rich and poor, so many mil­lions liv­ing under $1 a day, blah, blah)?

Isn’t it nice to see inspir­ing arti­cles like this piece about rural Indian success stories in the Financial Times?
